Goodbye 2009

With her best friend - Felina

M2 Class...........

She told me this pic is abt the Winx club and ultraman...hahahahha!!!!

Today is the last day of 2009 and also the last day for Kendra in Kid's Choice. She will be attending a proper school starting nest week. She has be with Kid's Choice almost 2 year. I still remember the first week I sent her to the center with lots of tears between me and her. I felt so guilty to let her in the center as that time she is only 23 months.

Time flies without notice, she is going to be 4 years old in few months later. I told her this morning that today is her last day in this center and she seems sad too. Luckily I managed to bring the camera to her nursery and seek help from her teacher to snap some pictures for her before she left.

For myself, this year gonna be a "bad" year for me. Some of you may already know how I had my hard time during labor for my son. I really hope that all the bad things I can left it behind and tomorrow onwards, it will be a good year with lots of joy waiting for me. For my fellow blog readers, I wish you all a happy and prosperous year 2010 too!!!!!

New Stroller for Randal

Got this Maclaren Quest Sport for Randal as the Combi was just uncomfortable to him due to his size. Many thanks to my ex-colleague who get me these super good deal. I like the color of the stroller.... it looks great to me.

The blanket is not included in the package. It's the prize I won from simple review.

It's a handmade minky blanket from MEGoriginal. Other than blankets, they have bibs, burp cloths, diapering set and others. All are handmade by the seller and they ship worldwide too. Maybe you can have a look at their store and found something useful for yourself.

*Note: this is not a paid post.

Gift From Stephanie

Finally I got back this parcel which I think it was lost in mail. I received a PM from Stephanie on last Sunday asking whether I've received the parcel that she sent out last week. I was so surprise about the gift and on the other hand, I was worried too as she told me she posted it out last week via Pos Express and the status shown from the Pos Malaysia's website was " Delivered".

I decided to wait for the postman to come and ask him about the parcel on yesterday. Around 10.30am, I received a call from a stranger and being told that she was oversea and when she returned home yesterday, she got a parcel which was belongs to me and wrongly send to her house. She would like to pass it back to me. Hoo hoo hoo...... i got it back finally. Thanks so much for this kind lady.

OK..... what is inside the package???? It's a birthday present for Kendra from this kind and thoughtful mommy...... Stephanie!!!! There are some princess stuffs inside and when I show it to Kendra, she like it so much and keep on asking me to unwrap it for her.

Once again, THANKS Stephanie!!!!!

Carlsberg Web TV

My dad is a super fans of football and he could sleep few hours a day just for the football. On weekend, he will only stay at home and stick in front of the TV for his football matches.

Lately, hubby told me that Carlsberg have launched a web tv channel named www.partofthegame.tv. Lots of football information and video clips can be found here.

Maybe I should share this site with my dad so he will have more variety to watch his matches!!!

Shockig News

This is a heart breaking news for those who wish to migrate to Australia........ and I'm one of it.

Rudd rolls up migrant welcome mat

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has flagged a cut in immigration because of the global financial crisis, faltering economic growth and a rise in unemployment.

Mr Rudd said the current immigration rate was an increase on the previous year.

He said that increase was to meet employer demands for more skilled workers, particularly in mining and resource intensive Western Australia and Queensland.

"As with all previous governments, and mine's the same, whenever we set immigration targets we will adjust them according to the economic circumstances of the day," he told the Fairfax Radio Network in Melbourne .

The 2008-09 Migration Program is set at 190,300 places, representing a 19.8 per cent increase on the 2007-08 program. The figure includes 56,500 places for family migrants sponsored by people already in Australia and 133,500 places for those with special skills.

But that's now been criticised as excessively large in a period of economic turmoil.

Mr Rudd said immigration was not one-size-fits-all across the country and the government would take advice on where skilled workers were needed.

Monash University researcher Andrew Markus has estimated that of the 21 million Australians, a quarter were born abroad - twice the proportion of the population in the United States and three times that of Britain.

Britain and New Zealand are still the largest source countries, but almost every country is represented.

I wish to redeem the tent for Kendra but too bad that I currently only have 3 Jumbo Huggies Ultra polybag on hand. Birthday = Public Holiday

I think I need to blog it down before I forget. When I was checking the Public holiday for year 2008 this morning and I found out that hubby and my birthday are falls on a public holiday, what a coincidence.

I still remember that my last birthday also falls on a public holiday ( Hari Raya Qurban) but this year is fall on Awal Muharam. For my hubby, his birthday is falls on Wesak Day. I can have a rest on my birthday......hooray!

Leap Frog Again

So happy to read this thread in MJ as I'm looking for some cartridges for the set. Need to thanks Gaik Pheng in advance for her help. And Myself also need to finalize my order so that she will have enough time to order it.

So far, I've shortlisted the cartridges for the My First computer and I'm still thinking whether to get the My first LeapPad or the Read & Write LeapPad. The books for this 2 models are at super low price now, think it's a good time for me to make the purchases.

Any of you did ask the favor from Gaik Pheng too? Mind to share you is in your list?

Price Increase Everywhere

Do you notice that the price for the "teh tarik" or the "kopi o" you had this morning is being increase??? I had my breakfast outside every morning and I noticed that the price for the drinks and the food I ordered is being increase for additional 10-30 cents. Here are some of the latest price for my breakfast:

Nescafe ice was RM1.60 increase to RM1.70
Pan Mee was RM3.00 increase to RM3.30
Fried wat tan yee mee was RM3.00 to RM3.20
Wan tan mee was RM2.20 to RM2.40

What the hell is going on.............!!!!!! This will increase my daily expenses if I still have my breakfast outside. Hubby suggested me to take away the food and have it at home so that I can save the cost for the drinks.....a good idea indeed!

I think maybe it's the time for our boss to increase our pay too! AGREE????

A Joke To Share...........

This is an email from my friend and I thought is good to share with you all........come on, don't be so tension, let's relax for awhile!

O
ne Chinese person walks into a bar in America late one night and he saw Steven Spielberg. As he was a great fan of his movies, he rushes over to him, and asks for his autograph.
I nstead, Spielberg gives him a slap and says "You Chinese people bombed our Pearl Harbor, get out of here."
The astonished Chinese man replied "It was not the Chinese who bombed your Pearl Harbor , it was the Japanese".
"Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, you're all the same," replied Spielberg.
I n return, the Chinese gives Spielberg a slap and says "You sank the Titanic; my forefathers were on that ship."
Shocked, Spielberg replies "It was the iceberg that sank the ship, not me."
The Chinese replies, "Iceberg, Spielberg, Carlsberg, you're all the same."

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition in Britain

the 100th Post

Need to celebrate it later......and too bad hubby is not here!

8TV Summer Concert @ Ipoh

I just came back from a dinner at Thai Thong, Heritage. So surprise when I step into the hotel lobby just now. It's full of the Summer Concert's poster.

While I'm waiting for my mom and sis, I saw few peoples walking out from the lift and all of them are wearing the pass with the SC logo on it. All of them are part of the staffs for that function.

I also "kepoh" and listen their conversation.......I heard one of the guy talking to another girl that Sandy Lam was "black face" due to one of her luggage was missing. When I thought of walking nearer to hear clearly, my mom and sis already walking to me and it's time to go into the restaurant, so I don't have a chance to listen the whole story.........

The show will be held in Ipoh Padang @ 11/8/07, 8.30pm.

KWSP

When I'm trying to login to the KWSP website to obtain my membership number, I found that their website had improve a lot compare to my last login. When is my last login....??heheh at least 6 months ago, when I quited my job.

Other than checking the yearly statement, we can check the withdrawal status, withdrawal history and withdrawal eligibility. By clicking at the withdrawal eligibility, you will know how much you can withdraw for purchase a new house, passed away, education, lost of ability, leaving country, medication, monthly payment [not sure what is this for], retirement and to reduce your housing loan.

What a surprise to me when I'm checking for my 2006 statement. My previous employer did pay for me the December KWSP although I have officially resign WEF 1st of December. WOW.... this time "untung" already!
