Hubby's Birthday

Hubby celebrated his 31st birthday yesterday and we had a simply birthday lunch at Spaghetti Sweet Tea Cafe (SSTC) right after fetching Kendra from school. We are welcome by the boss when we stepped in. The ambience of the restaurant is great and we were the only customer by that time.......

The boss is so friendly and strongly recommend us his "chef recommended" dishes. So, we just order what he suggest and here are what we had yesterday........

Tomato soup with Macaroni.......

Special Aglio Olio with mushrooms

White Sauce with Turkey Ham.......

Cup of Cappuccino...........

Cup of Mocha................

and this yummy Tiramisu,............

Overall the foods is great and we were so full when we walked out from the restaurant.......!!!!!! Once again, happy birthday to you my dear and wish you stay healthy and happy everyday!!!!

Lucky or Unlucky

Today is the replacement holiday for hubby's company so he decided to go to the Australian High Commission to get all our passport stamp for our Australia PR. He took the 8.30am bus and suppose to reach there before 12pm.

I gave him a call around 11.30am and I was being told that the bus broke down and he need to take a cab to rush to the AUD High Comm before they close for lunch. 12.10pm, my phone rang again and hubby told me that he was not allow to enter the building because he reached there at 12.02pm and their office was close at 12pm. He pleased the receptionist (a malay lady) to let him go in since he is travel so far away from Ipoh. But the malay lady insisted not to let him go in. I can feel how frustrated and annoyed hubby was at that time. He purposely took bus to get there but was not allow to go in because he was late for the 2 minutes. Opps, I forgot to mention that their office was only open till 12pm only. He please the receptionist again and again and even show her his bus ticket but she still not to let him go in. So, he have to leave with no other option.

At 1.30pm he called me again and let me know that he was on his way to Pudu and will be back soon. So, I just take note about it and continue my Facebook game. Not long later, he called me again and told me that he called to the High Comm office and his phone call was answer by an Australian lady. He told the lady about his case and she was helpful enough to ask him to go back to their office and she will get it done for him.

While I'm writing this post, I'm waiting for his call too. Don't know how the receptionist feel when she see hubby can go in later and will hubby make a complaint to them about this......hahaha!!!!

Cisco Certification

Anyone who is working in IT field or job related to IT field will definitely heard of Cisco. Cisco is the most famous brand in networking & communication technology. Besides selling networking & communication products, Cisco does have learning/certification series for IT personnel who want to advance their career in IT networking specifically in Cisco. Cisco certification is essential for IT personnel who want to advance to the next high level IT jobs which we may refer to SME (“Subject Matter Expert”).

Recently, there are lots of career opportunities in IT field either via newspaper advertisements or online job posting websites. As we carefully review the listings, those high pay jobs require someone who is certified in a particular field. Meaning to say so, you can secure a better job if you have certifications.

My husband, he is now a CCNP holder (Cisco Certified Network Professional)and a CCNA holder (Cisco Certified Network Associate). It is not easy task to become Cisco certified professionals. It really requires lots of study, hands-on lab practices & understanding of the concepts. To excel, it is recommended to attend trainings if someone wishes to pursue on Cisco certification

However, he told me that he will continue to pursue the next level of Cisco certification which CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). It is also the highest level of Cisco certification path. He told me that it not easy to get as he told me that it is the toughest assessments as compare with other IT assessments. Here, I really wish him success on pursuing CCIE and I'm sure he can make it. Because it is a world of Internet now where IT network infrastructure requires lots of qualified and certified IT professionals to design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot the network related problems.

DH Birthday

Hubby birthday is around the corner and I still don't have any plan to celebrate it. As you all aware that when we ask them what they want for present, sure they will ask us no need to buy them anythings. Maybe he know that if I would get him somethings and in the end he have to buy me back a present to "thank" me..... So, it's better don't ask for anythings.....hahahah!

Although that day is a Public holiday but he need to work on that day due to short of manpower in his department. I think I will only arrange a lunch with him together with our princess since Kendra no need to go to nursery on that day. I think I will also buy him a present on behalf on Kendra.... any ideas what I should get him???

Postcard from the sky

Guess what I received in my letter box yesterday...??? Yes, it's 2 postcard sent by hubby while he was in his flight to San Fransisco. 1 is for me and the other one for Kendra. I wonder how come it needs 1 week plus to reach us as hubby will be coming back this Sunday, it's better he deliver it by hand....LOL!

I did check the price here, Leapster is selling at RM554 whereby it's only USD59.90 in the State.... a big different in price if I get it here.

Welcome Home

After a week of waiting and finally hubby is back. He reached Ipoh around 9.30 by Yoyo bus and I need fetched him. I didn't bring Kendra a long because it's raining outside, so I just left her with my mum.

When we reached home and the first reaction of Kendra when she saw her daddy.........pretend crying and want her daddy to carry her!!!!! She is soooo cute, know how to attract attention. After that, she don't want all of us to carry her EXCEPT her daddy. She just stick to her daddy the whole night.
Hubby didn't get anythings for Kendra on his trip. He just requested some stuffs from the air stewardess to give it to Kendra and here are the stuffs he manage to get:

"Dora the Explorer" document bag....mommy like it so much and forfeited it...hahahah

A pair of slipper and an activities pack

A coloring book from "Spongebob" and a "Dora The Explorer" toys

Hubby manage to buy me the LeSportsac bag at Changi airport. The one that he bought for me not the classic one but the Tokidoki from LeSportsac. I feel so surprise when I open it....coz earlier when he is in KLIA, he called me up and told me that he bought the bag (classic-Molly) for me and I didn't expect he will buy this Buon Viaggio in Paradiso (SGD247.22)....it's too costly compare to the classic one!!!!! Anyhow, I appreciate it......."Thanks, lou kong"
Here are some of the photos of my bag......

My Sleeping King

Hubby has an interview in US embassy today, so he need to wake up early in the morning as the taxi will be coming at 5.00am to pick him up.

He had set the alarm before he go to bed yesterday night. When the alarm beep this morning, I just turn it off and wake hubby up.

me: woi, wake up lor (by shaking his arm).....it's 4.30am already!
hubby: ok ok......

After about 10 minutes he is still in the bed.

me: woi.....it's already 4.40am. You want your US Visa or not?

hubby: WHAT? 4.40am?Why don't you wake me up earlier?Isn't something wrong with our alarm? How come I didn't hear it beep?

me: The alarm is alright, just yourself got problem. Actually I did wake you up 10 min ago, but I don't know why you still in the bed after that.....

He quickly jump out from the bed and go to the washroom to dress himself. While he changing his clothes, the taxi is in front of our house. So, he had to rush for it without taking any breakfast........he seems steady!

If I know I gotta outstation, I'll have a sleepless night the day before depart. Not like hubby, can have such a good sleep all night long. If I'm hubby, I'm sure I can't get everythings done in 30 mins. I'll need at least 1 hour to prepare myself and spare some times to double check all the documents before leaving the house. Maybe this is the different between men and women.
